Online professional learning? Does it appeal to you?

April 9, 2008 · 2 Comments

We (ASLA NSW committee) have been tossing around the idea of running some online professional development. In particular, we thought it might be useful to run some tutorials on Web 2.0 skills.

I was wondering what your thoughts were on the concept?

Would you be interested in participating?

Would you be interested in mentoring participants?

Thoughts? Advice? Ideas?

I would be interested in this, because I am doing online learning already.

I have had some very positive experiences with online learning and would appreciate PD being available in this mode. I do not live close to a capital city and travel to face-to-face events combined with being able to take time out from school makes most of them prohibitive.
